Port Matilda Volunteer Fire Company

Dave lived out his childhood dream and was a Jr Firefighter with the Department. In 2020 he was named Rookie of the Year.

Troop 32 State College

Dave joined Scouts BSA Troop 32 in State College having never been in Cub Scouts. Despite starting his scouting career late he excelled. He held the positions of Den Leader (working as a mentor to a Cub Scout pack) and Assistant Patrol Leader.

State College Building Construction

Dave was a student at State High where he studied building construction.

Builder's Association of Central PA

Dave was a frequent volunteer for the BACP. He helped their BuilderWorks program build a butterfly garden at Millbrook Marsh. He could be found helping at Bricks & Sticks Golf Tournament, Centre County Cornhole Classic, and the Everything Home Expo.

Downtown State College Rotary

Dave was just beginning to explore the world of Rotary but he very much enjoyed being one of Santa's helpers in the workshop for the Polar Express.
